Bonnie Solino didn’t intend to write a novel when she began writing a short story called, Johan and the Secret Caves. She, her husband, and sister were creating an online show for children, for which she had written many short stories. This one was different. Her main character, Johan, just kept talking until a bizarre and magical place with kind gentle people was created.

In Johan and the Secret Caves, Johann and his friends: Anna, Christian, and Mikky travel through a rain forest, searching for the sick pterodactyl’s nesting ground. While using their unique skills to, boldly, solve this mystery filled with poisoned pterodactyls, secret hidden caves, a kidnapped friend, and the discovery of a priceless treasure, each brings a special talent to the job.
With Johan's sense of duty, Anna’s cool, analytical mind, Christian as environmentalist and rune interrupter, and Mikky, who doesn’t let his Down Syndrome get in the way of helping his friends crack these mysteries, these friends are always eager to go on an adventure.

In the second of her series...Johan Adventures, Bonnie Solino creates a relentless storm, which unsettles the inhabitants of Kortdagbyen Island leaving the animals homeless and hungry. The pterodactyls have moved their nests underground. The trolls seek shelter beneath porches. Some of the most important natural resources on earth are in danger.
Twisting and turning through this latest adventure, Johan and his friends deliver a letter of utmost importance from the King of Norway to the island’s climate controller, Gjaison. Then Johann and Christian are swept into an underground river, where they wash up onto an ancient Viking ship.
When Mikky reveals an ancient weather machine in a concealed cave lined with black diamonds, he goes missing. Where is he? Was he kidnapped, again? Will he be returned home, safely? Anna stays levelheaded and helps them with her quick mind and fast actions.
When a scavenger hunt goes of course, the children find a hidden, underground room with chests filled with treasure. Unexpectedly, the heavy stone door shuts, locking them in. Are the children found? Who left the treasure underground?
