Sunday's book signing was hysterical. We set up two tents and had a blast. My niece Brandi was under one tent selling her handmade jewelry. Her friend Amanda the photographer was next to her, selling some beautiful work. (Incredible artist and a paraplegic. A head button helps her take the perfect shot.)
Then my other niece Crystal who has Down Syndrome and was selling her decorated jars and vases. She is saving for a trip to Paris, of course. My sister sat in the middle as our PR person pointing out all of our wares.
My husband Don was there as my hero. When I left my banner at home. He donned his white hat and rode his trusty steed home (forty minutes away) to get it. Then he took a Crystal and a friend to a Boy Scout picnic in the park. Fun and profitable day.
Hope Presbyterian Church has a lot of wonderful people.
